How to transfer contacts from android phone without internet connection to windows phone with internet

  1. On android phone, go to contacts and press setting (There may be different ways of accessing this depending on android version). In Setting, click on "Import/export". Now click on "Export to storage". Now a pop up will appear saying your contacts will be exported to file called 00001.vcf (vCard file) (just an example, name may vary...). Press "Ok"
  2. Now depending on the media access interface you have between android phone and your PC (Bluetooth or USB cable), transfer this file 00001.vcf to your PC and place it on desktop or any folder.
  3. Now on your PC with internet connection, Go to your gmail account and click on contacts in the top left pane (Where "Gmail" appears just below "Google" Logo). Now in the below menu, click on "Import Contacts...". Now a pop up dialog appears for selecting import file. Click on "Choose File" button and select the file 00001.vcf from Step 2. Now all contacts from android are synced to your gmail account.
  4. Now on windows phone, assuming that you have already created a gmail account . Go to "Peoples" application and in settings, click on sync to sync all contacts from your gmail account.
  5. Now all your android contacts are synced to windows phone.
